RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: One Frontier Corps (FC) soldier embraced martyrdom while seven further received injuries in an attack by terrorists in Mirali area of North Waziristan last night, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a statement on Thursday, the ISPR said that terrorists opened fire on a security forces’ convoy in Mirali late last night.
Resultantly, 34-year-old soldier Naik Yaseen, a resident of Malakand, embraced shahadat while seven soldiers got injured.
The ISPR said that the security forces responded promptly to the terrorists’ attack.
It further said that in the intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed while 10 suffered injuries.
