KABUL, Afghanistan: At least 10 persons were killed in separate roadside bombings in Afghanistan on Saturday, the officials said.
The deadliest attack occurred in the Panjwayi district of southern Kandahar province when a bomb struck a civilian car, killing eight persons.
The Panjwayi district police chief Sultan Muhammad blamed the Taliban for the bombing.
In another violence incident, a civilian and a police officer were killed when a bomb struck a vehicle in Jalalabad city of eastern Nangarhar province.
