10 Muslims killed in rebel attacks in northeast India

NEW DELHI: At least 10 Muslims including six women and two children were killed while four others injured in two separate attacks by rebels in the Indian State of Assam. “Authorities have called in the army to restore order and imposed an indefinite curfew after recovering seven more bodies Saturday”. said Indian television channels. Some Indian journalists believe that killing of Muslims are encouraged by Mr. Modi latest speeches against Muslims.

 

The first attack took place in a village in Baksa district in western Assam, when rebels opened fire on a group of villagers sitting in a courtyard. Subsequently, three people were killed

The second attack took place in Kokrajhar district when more than 20 armed men broke open the doors of two homes and sprayed them with bullets, killing seven people.
