MUZAFARGARH, Pakistan: The Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed said on Saturday that as in the past, media is once again being used for negative propaganda against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
In his address at the inaugural ceremony of a passport office at Bhimber in Azad Kashmir on Saturday afternoon, the minister said that all parties should respect mandate of each other.
The minister said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in principles and always respected mandate of other parties including in Azad Kashmir. However, he regretted that conspiracies have always been hatched against PML-N and its leadership.
Pervaiz Rasheed also regretted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, who is levelling allegations against the prime minister, is now in London to take part in election campaign of Gold Smith for the office of London Mayor against a Pakistan-origin candidate Sadiq.
The information minister said that other regional countries are moving ahead on the path of development but road-blocks are being created in Pakistan by the vested interest to halt its progress.
