LAHORE, Pakistan: The Lahore district administration has prepared list of the points in the towns to set up 28 Ramzan Bazaars to provide daily use items to the citizens in the holy month of Ramzan on control rates.
The DCO Muhammad Usman Younas issued instructions to the Town Administrators, Assistant Commissioners, District Officers of Live Stock, Industries, Labour, Monitoring & Inquiries and TMOs of nine Towns to make elaborate arrangements of supply and security in and around the premises of Bazars.
The district government also will establish Madni Dastar Khawan in all nine towns at selected places where free food will be given to citizens at Aftar time. He instructed to the official concerned to ensure regular supply of fresh vegetables, meat and fruits in Ramzan Bazaars.
Market Committee Officials have been asked to set up special stalls in all Ramzaan Bazaars where fresh vegetables will be available till closing of bazaars.
Meanwhile, administrators of towns will visit the sites of bazaars to monitor the security arrangements on daily basis. Under the district administration plan, special attention would be paid to the parking areas, installation of walk through gates and CCTV cameras for the safety of people.
