GILGIT: As many as 1,200 laptops would be distributed among students in Gilgit-Baltistan, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) regional chief organizer Hafeez-ur-Rehman told media in Gilgit.
The organizer said that laptops will be distributed to the students on merit basis through the Karakoram International University, adding that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given approval of the project.
