DONGGUAN, China: The three-day 21st century Maritime Silk Route International Expo will open in China’s Southeastern city of Dongguan on Friday.
The event will be held from October 31 to November 2 at Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Houjie Town, Dongguan city.
Over 500 leading business managers and media professionals from countries of Asia including Pakistan, Europe, Africa and South America are expected to attend the moot of its kind in modern times.
The expo aims at revival of ancient maritime silk route to enhance trade and commercial ties among the countries situated on the sea route or having seaports.
The ancient China had used this sea route as maritime silk route to export its silk products to other countries.
