ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In the last 24 hours, 24 more people fell victims to flood-related incidents across Pakistan and 115 further sustained injuries, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said.
The lates statistics stated that a total 1,314 persons have so far lost their lives and 12,703 have injured in monsoon rains and floods throughout the Country.
The death casualties included 585 males, 262 females and 458 children whereas among 12,703 injured are 5,332 male, 3,396 females, and 3,975 children.

The data told that the floods have caused damages to more than 16,827,26 houses, 5,735 kilometers roads, 246 bridges & 173 shops, and perished 750,405 livestock.
It further told that under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), more than Rs 11,023,255,702 have so far been distributed among 437,728 flood affectees.
PM Shahbaz Sharif reaches Qambar-Shahdadkot
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reached Qambar-Shahdadkot in Sindh on a day-long visit on Monday.
During the visit, the prime minister was briefed about the flood situation and relief and rescue operations being carried out in the surrounding flood-hit areas.
The prime minister was informed that flood hit areas are still submerged in water causing difficulties in the relief and rescue operations.
