ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Contingents of Police and Rangers on Saturday conducted the search operation in various areas of Police Station Bhara Kahu and nabbed 25 suspects.
A police spokesman said that search operation was conducted in the areas of Dhok Abbasi, Nai Abadi and Kot Hathial in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bhara Kahu.
The search operation was headed by SP (City) Ahmad Iqbal, SDPO (Sectt) and SHOs of City zone police stations and contingents of Rangers.
During this search operation, 25 suspects were nabbed and 35 kg explosive, wire, 3 pistols and ammunition were also recovered from them.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has said the purpose of this search operation and high vigilance is to ensure foolproof security in the city. He further directed all SDPOs and SHOs to continue it.
He also appealed the citizens to remain vigilant and inform police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
