HANGU: Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested 22 suspected terrorists, including a militant commander during a crackdown in various areas of Hangu town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Police said three bombs planted on the roadside were also defused.
DPO Hangu said the militant commander, identified as Bilal, was arrested among 22 others suspected terrorists when law-enforcers conducted a search operation in various areas of the Hangu town.
Meanwhile, bomb disposal squad defused a 4-kg bomb at Khaderkhel area of Peshawar.
