ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Three Officers of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) have been promoted to the rank of Air Marshal.
The promoted PAF Officers include Air Marshal Chaudhary Ahsan Rafiq, Air Marshal Waqas Ahmed Sulehri, and Air Marshal Ahmad Hassan.
The PAF Spokesman said that presently, Air Marshal Chaudhary Ahsan Rafiq is serving as the Chief Project Director JF17, Air Marshal Waqas Ahmed Sulehri as the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Operations), and Air Marshal Ahmad Hassan as the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Engineering) at Air Headquarters in Islamabad.
The Spokesman said that Air Marshal Chaudhary Ahsan Rafiq and Air Marshal Waqas Ahmed Sulehri are recipients of Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) while Air Marshal Ahmad Hassan is a recipient of Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military).
