KARACHI: A three-year-old minor girl was recovered on Thursday as three kidnappers were killed in a successful police action in Karachi.
Addressing a press conference here, chief of the Citizens Police Liaison Committee Ahmed Chinoy said that a joint operation was carried out by the CPLC and Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) in Neelam Colony to recover the minor girl.
As a result of the action, he said, three kidnappers were killed while five policemen injured, adding that four Kalashnikovs and four T.T pistols were recovered from the criminals.
The girl was abducted from SITE industrial area on July 13.
