ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The curve of COVID-19 remains flattened in Pakistan to a well manageable level, and by now in total 302,708 infected persons have recovered where 8,335 remain under treatment.
In total, 317,595 people have been infected by the virus including 661 people tested positive in the last 24 hours in the Country, reveals the data by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) on October 9 morning.
The data tells that 8 people lost their lives to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 6,552.
On October 8, 33,898 COVID-19 tests were conducted including 11,214 in Punjab, 11,138 in Sindh, 4,244 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), 4,443 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 1,091 in Balochistan, 497 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 1,271 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Out of 302,708 recovered people throughout the Country, 132,377 hail from Sindh, 96,527 from Punjab, 36,447 from KPK, 16,249 from ICT, 15,117 from Balochistan, 3,531 from Gilgit-Baltistan, and 2,462 from AJK.
In terms of province-wise Coronavirus Cases, Sindh has so far registered 139,571 Cases, Punjab 100,330 Cases, KPK 38,219 Cases, Islamabad 17,122 Cases, Balochistan 15,480 Cases, Gilgit-Baltistan 3,893 Cases, and AJK 2,980 Cases.
As per the NCOC, 784 infected persons are at present admitted in 735 hospitals having COVID-19 facilities across the Country.
