Monitoring Desk: In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 48 personnel suffer from coronavirus after two new cases were registered yesterday, reports Ukrainian News Agency.
On May 3, the number of detected cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in Ukraine increased by 418 to 12,331, the number of deaths from the disease – by 15 people to 303 compared with the previous days, while the number of new cases decreased by 16.7%, the number of new fatalities increased by 66.7%.
In a story by Elizabeth Drabkina, the figure of infected persons in the Armed Forces was released by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“At 07:00 on May 4, in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus affects 48 people. Also, 33 people and 2 fatal cases recovered during the pandemic,” the statement said.
311 people are isolated (including self-isolation).
The number of servicemen whose isolation ends in the next three days is 107 people.
One of the servicemen, whose coronavirus was confirmed on May 3, is in a health care facility (VICC of the Central region), the other is being treated at home under the supervision of medical service. The patients’ health status is satisfactory, there are no symptoms of the disease.
