MULTAN, Pakistan: About 50,000 citizens will be served with one of the biggest 12000 pound cake in the country’s history, on 11th of Rabiul Awal (Wednesday) to mark the Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH), said Sajadanasheen Pir Syed Ali Hassan Shah, commonly known as Chaadir Wali Sarkar.
Talking to media, Pir Ali Hassan Shah said that he had invited nearly 50,000 citizens to celebrate birthday anniversary of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
A special cake of 12000 pound was prepared for devotees and other citizens. Traditionally, huge cake is prepared and served on eve of every 11th Rabiul Awal for last five years. Five year ago, such huge cake weighing 5,000 Kg was prepared and the tradition of making huge cake was in progress.
As many as 26,000 eggs, 2200Kg butter, 900Kg sugar, 600 Kg patent flour (Maida), thousands of apples, carrots and huge quantity of Chocolate were used for cake, claimed Pir Ali Hassan.
Ten persons have been working on the preparation of the cake for last 10 days.
Similarly, 100 millions of “Darood Sharif” and recitation of 5,000 Quran was also arranged during the preparation of cake, Ali Hassan added.
