KATHMANDU, Nepal: At least 53 persons have been killed while hundreds of others have gone missing in Nepal in landslides and flooding triggered by annual monsoon rains since Wednesday.
The officials in the home ministry said on Saturday that more than 25 percent of the country’s 75 administrative districts have been hit by landslides or floods.
They said that more than 200 houses have been destroyed while hundreds of other homes are completely under water.
