ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 641 people tested positive for Coronavirus across the Country on October 16 while 13 people lost their lives, according to the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC).
With further Cases pouring in, now a total of 322,452 people have been infected by COVID-19 and 6,638 have died of it in the Country.
In the last 24 hours, 805 COVID-19 patients however recovered; therefore, now the tally of recovered people has reached 306,640.
As of October 17, the total Active Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan are 9,174.
On October 16, 32,465 tests were conducted to diagnose the virus including 12,136 in Punjab, 8,429 in Sindh, 5,002 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 4,966 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), 1,063 in Balochistan, 505 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 364 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
To date, Sindh has registered 141,474 COVID-19 Cases and 2,574 deaths, Punjab has 101,425 Cases and 2,288 deaths, KPK has 38,565 and 1,265 deaths, and Islamabad has 17,913 Cases and 194 deaths.
Likewise, 15,644 Cases and 146 deaths have so far been reported in Balochistan, 4,033 Cases and 90 deaths in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 3,398 Cases and 81 deaths in AJK.
