LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab government has announced to recruit 7,763 police constables in all districts and 1,225 traffic assistants in six districts of Punjab.
The recruitment process will be completed in two phases.
Meanwhile boards consisting of police officers have also been constituted for recruitment of police constables and traffic assistants.
The recruitment forms can be collected from police lines of all districts.
In Punjab police, as many as 7,763 constables and lady constables will be recruited whereas dates for applications submission, physical tests and interviews have been announced as well.
As per details, 112 police constables will be recruited in Jhelum, 292 in Rawalpindi, 62 in Chakwal, 32 in Attock, 42 in Hafizabad, 237 in Mandi Bahauddin, 397 in Gujrat, 59 in Toba Tek Singh, 207 in Jhang, and 187 in Chiniot.
Likewise, 469 recruitments will take place in Dera Ghazi Khan, 262 in Rajan Pur, 283 in Muzaffargarh, 22 in Layyah, 128 in Bahawalpur, 269 in Bahawalnagar, 461 in Rahim Yar Khan, 61 in Mianwali, 150 in Lodhran, 114 in Sargodha, 82 in Sheikhupura, 60 in Kasur, 115 in Nankana Sahib, 598 in Gujranwala, 293 in Sialkot, 796 in Faisalabad, 186 in Sahiwal, 103 in Pakpattan, 498 in Multan, 86 in Khanewal, 169 in Vehari, 32 in Khushab, 73 in Bhakkar, and 73 in Okara.
In addition, 1,225 traffic assistants of traffic police will also be recruited in six districts of Punjab. As many as 425 traffic assistants will be recruited in Lahore, 135 in Rawalpindi, 75 in Gujranwala, 100 in Faisalabad, 90 in Multan and 400 in Sialkot.
