ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Mobile phone services will not be suspended in the Federal Capital on Tuesday as the concerned authorities have reportedly changed the security plan for 9th Muharram.
Earlier it was reported that mobile phone services would remain suspended in Islamabad from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the mourning processions of 9th Muharram are being taken out across the country including the Federal Capital amid tight security on Tuesday.
The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has imposed a ban on pillion riding in the Federal Capital under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) to maintain peace.
In addition, the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has also issued a diversion plan to regulate traffic in view of 9th Muharram processions.
Today, the main Ashura procession in Islamabad will be taken out of central Imambargah in G-6/2 Sector.
Traditionally, the main mourning procession in Islamabad is held on 9th Muharram and in Rawalpindi on 10th Muharram.
More than 12,000 security officials including over 10,000 policemen, 1,500 Rangers and 500 officials of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) have been deployed in Islamabad to guard mourning processions and congregations.
The Federal Capital expects to witness a total of 909 religious congregations and 177 processions.
