ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday set the deadline of April 4 for the election candidates to open their bank accounts for election expenses, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
The candidates have also been bound to spend for election expenditures from a single account for their campaigns. Moreover, they have been directed to submit a weekly expenditure report to the district returning officer.
It may be mentioned that the limit of expenditures for National Assembly is Rs1.5 million while Rs 1 million for the provincial assembly campaigning.
