ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: An exhibition of photographs by various photographers will unveil the `World in Monochrome’ Saturday at National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, Lok Virsa.

The show entitled ‘My World in Monochrome’ is being arranged by Photographic Art Society of Pakistan (PASP) featuring the award winning pictures of Photographers.

Around 50 photographs will be displayed at Lok Virsa by PASP that aims at promoting the photographic art and artists through exhibitions, slide shows, workshops, publications and personal interaction, nationally and internationally, said the organizers.

Monochrome photography is mainly done in only one color or different shades of that colour in order to define the whole subject, usually black and white. Other color shades captured in this specific genre of photography is grey.

PASP is a platform for photographers to sharpen their hidden skills of photography and serve as an opportunity to display photographs at such platforms that allow the photographers to listen the comments of common people.

The exhibitions of PASP focus on variety of themes of the photographs from nature to animal photography, and from portrait to group photography to give the photographers a chance to cover a wide range of themes, they said.

The PASP executive committee at the exhibition selected the photographs of the participants after thorough scrutiny.

All the photographs focus on some theme and explore the subject in eye catching way and proper details.
