PESHAWAR, Pakistan:Â The Culture Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is all set to organize theater dramas, Tang Takor, Poetic programmes and food festivals to promote culture and traditional civilization of the province.
Director PRESCO Entertainment Muhammad Imran Safi told the state-news agency in Peshawar on Tuesday that the purpose of arranging such activities in the province is to provide entertainment opportunities besides promotion of culture and civilization.
He said that that PRESCO entertainment arranged seven different programmes including concerts, Hujra, Tang Takoor, Yaka Zar o Qurban, picture exhibition, Tanga Race, Mirwas Baba and games among children, in collaboration with provincial culture department.
He said that it is a good thing that the young generation is learning from literary programmes while such activities which are need of the hour, are aimed to revive traditional practices including Hujra culture.
He said it is actually the revival of cultural heritage, adding the credit of such positive and effective goes to provincial cultural department.
