RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is going to organize a three-day industrial exhibition, ‘Rawal Expo 2016’ at Topi Rakh, Ayub Park here from May 13-15, said President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Mian Humayun Parvez.
Addressing a press conference here Monday, he said RCCI is finalizing all the arrangements to make the expo a success. This would be an opportunity for the traders to display their products and services to potential customers.
The stall holders, on the spot can test marketing of their products and services to a heavy flow of visitors. They can get closer to the consumers and sellers to enhance unique market opportunity for leading companies, engaged in industrial, consumers and services base activities for generating new business, he added.
The traders can also get opportunity to become a part of RCCI, he said adding, there would be over 100 stalls particularly of Industrial products, garments, leather products and furniture. 20 stalls having 300 seating arrangements would also be set up in the food court.
He informed that RCCI would make all out efforts to make it a business cum family event. This would provide ample opportunity to the business community to showcase and advertise its products and services.
He said, letters have been written to all the chambers for the participation of the traders of other cities, adding, Rawal Expo features Food Festival, kids Carnival, Live Music, Social Evening, Auto Show and Lucky Draws.
Political leadership, dignitaries, foreign diplomats, business associations, business leaders, RCCI Corporate Class members, RCCI Associate class members, Academia, students, showbiz, Media celebrities and general public would visit the expo, he said.
RCCI is showcasing and introducing Pakistani products nationally and internationally through holding exhibitions.
Since 1982, onwards RCCI is holding exhibitions in Pakistan and abroad at places such as Indian, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, UK and USA by the brand name Made in Pakistan, he added.
The President said, the twin cities, Islamabad and Rawalpindi having major industry of defense production and other manufacturing units in its surrounding has gained special attention.
RCCI is striving to boost commercial and industrial activities in the Potohar region, he said.
