ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan desires to benefit from the Republic of Korea’s success in the agriculture sector and called for exchange of delegations between the farmers of both countries.

In a meeting with the outgoing Ambassador of Republic of Korea to Pakistan Dr. Song Jong-Hwan who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Tuesday, the president said that collaboration between Pakistani Agriculture Universities and Republic of Korea’s Agriculture Research Institutes could be very useful in modernizing and increasing agriculture production in Pakistan.

The president said that remarked that Pakistan and Republic of Korea enjoy friendly relations adding that bilateral relations between the two will expand further and grow deeper in the future.

Mamnoon Hussain appreciated services of the outgoing ambassador and wished him every success in the future.

President Mamnoon further said that the present government has taken effective measures to stabilize the economy as a result of which the national economy is strengthening and the problems of the people are reducing.

The president said that improvement in the national economy is also being acknowledged by international institutions. He said that law and order situation in the country is improving and hoped that by the end of this year the objectives of operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ will be achieved.
