TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN, Pakistan: Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) lawmaker in the National Assembly Syed Naveed Qamar has said that the Sindh government has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases to establish cardio vascular hospitals in various parts of the province.
While addressing a news conference in Tando Muhammad Khan, he said that establishment of cardio vascular hospitals across Sindh aimed at providing prompt rescue and first aid to cardio vascular patients.
The lawmaker said that the PPP led provincial government is fully committed to provide better medical facilities to the people by establishing state of the art medical institutes and hospitals of different diseases in various parts of Sindh.
Syed Naveed Qamar informed that the Sindh government has been engaged in completing a project which will provide quality treatment and relief in emergency to patients.
The lawmaker said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto (SMBB) Cardiac Care Hospital Tando Muhammad Khan is one of the hospitals of this project which is near completion and will start providing services by the end of this year.
The Deputy Commissioner Tando Muhammad Khan Agha Abdul Raheem informed that SMBB Cardiac Care Hospital Tando Muhammad Khan will be completed with an amount of Rs 250 million.
The Director National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases Dr. Nadeem Qamar, Member of Sindh Assembly Aijaz Shah and Dr. Nadeem Rizvi were also present on the occasion.
