ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is playing a commendable role in the fight against terrorism and extremism, which has thwarted the nefarious designs of anti-state and dark forces.
In a meeting with Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Thursday, the president noted that PAF has laid down an effective operational doctrine for the nation’s air arm to meet any challenge at any time.
The president lauded PAF for maintaining highest standards of skills and vigilance to ensure aerial defence of the motherland.
The Chief of Air Staff briefed the president about various matters relating to PAF.
