ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed for public dealings on July 1, 2016 (Friday) which will be observed as Bank Holiday.
A spokesman of SBP said in a statement issued here on Tuesday, all banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs); Micro Finance Banks (MFBs) will, therefore, remain closed for public dealings on the aforesaid date.
However, all employees of the banks/DFIs/ MFBs will attend the office as usual.
Meanwhile, the federal government has announced four holidays for upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr from July 05 to 08.
