LAHORE, Pakistan: At least six people were killed and two others sustained injuries in two separate road accidents in Okara and Rahim Yar Khan on Monday.
Sources said that a car that was heading to Bahawalnagar rammed into a speeding trailer coming from an opposite side near Renala bypass.
Resultantly, three persons died at the spot who were later identified as Muhammad Hassan, Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Zafar whereas car driver Muhammad Naeem was shifted to Lahore in critical condition.
In a separate road accident occurred near Rahim Yar Khan, three people were killed and two others injured as a car plunged into a ditch on Liaquatabad Road.
