ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The British Parliamentarians on Wednesday observed that religion leaders of Pakistan must have understood that news about sectarian clashes in Pakistan were being used against their country in United Kingdom.                       

“We always promote soft face of Pakistan but religious people must behave and control themselves because their activities pose a negative and radicalized picture of Pakistan in UK,” the Pakistani-origin lawmakers in the British Parliament said while addressing ‘Meet The Press’ at National Press Club (NPC) in Islamabad.

The delegation of British Parliamentarians was led by Lord Nazir Ahmed and also comprised of Lord Qurban Hussain, Raja Niabat and British journalist Samina Khan among others.

The British Parliamentarians said that they were invited by the Pakistani government to attend an International Conference starting in Islamabad from January 5, and they appreciated that initiative.

The Parliamentarians called upon the major world powers to take notice of Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and must bring Indian to justice.

“We want to drag India in justice box,” Lord Qurban said.

Lord Qurban said that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had accelerated brutalities in Occupied Kashmir. He said that Modi’s actions were helping the situation to expose the Indian brutal face.

Lord Qurban Hussain said that International observers present in the Valley could check situation if the United Nations authorized observers to report the situation.

Lord Nazir said that the British government had already been tilted towards India and even now, he added, that tilt had been intensified

“House of lords can a play very positive role,” he said and also expressed disappointment over the silent of super powers on Indian genocide in Occupied Kashmir.

Lord Nazir said that Pakistanis and Kashmiris were playing their positive role in United Kingdom.

Raja Niabat said that Pakistanis and Kashmiri-origin Parliamentarians, whether they belonged to Conservative or Labour parties, both worked together for Kashmir cause.

“Pakistanis must join us in our fight against genocide being committed by Indians in Occupied Kashmir,” he said.
