ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Saudi Arabia has assured that it will extend full support to Pakistan for promotion of its tourism sector.
Talking to the Managing Director Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Khan in Islamabad, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani assured him for his full support for promotion of tourism in Pakistan.
The Saudi envoy also appreciated the effort managing director PTDC for promotion of tourism in Pakistan.
The two dignitaries agreed that there is a huge potential for the development of fruitful relations in the field of tourism between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The managing director PTDC told the Saudi envoy that Pakistan is one of the countries in the world which is blessed with diverse opportunities of truism attractions.
Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor said that Pakistan is the home of one of the oldest civilization in the world, locations, attractive scenic beauty, splendid mountains and peaks, lakes, world fames glaciers, sacred religious and historical places. He said that Pakistan is the land of opportunities for investment, especially in the field of tourism. Pakistan is one of the countries for investment, especially in the field of tourism.
“We would welcome and facilitate Saudi investors and businessmen if they invest in Pakistan especially in the field of tourism,” he said.
The managing director PTDC thanked the Saudi ambassador for showing interest for arranging his meeting with His highness Prince Sultan Bin Salman with the help of Saudi Embassy.
“It will be a great honour for him to meet H.E. Sultan Bin Salman with regard to promotion of tourism in Pakistan,” he said.
The MD PTDC informs the ambassador that our efforts in this direction will not only boost tourism and also contributed in growth of economy of both countries.
In the end of the meeting, the managing director PTDC also presented the souvenir as a good will gesture to the Saudi ambassador.
