RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Pakistan Ali Alizada has said that his Country wants to enhance its bilateral trade with Pakistan.
During his visit to the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) in Rawalpindi on Thursday, the ambassador urged business community of both the Countries to boost volume of trade between the two countries.
The envoy said that we want to boost trade relations especially in the field of agriculture, textile and other fields.
The Azerbaijan’s ambassador assured full support and cooperation for boosting bilateral trade and called for frequent exchange of trade delegations.
The ambassador also appreciated the role of RCCI for promoting bilateral trade relations and organizing Made in Pakistan Expo for the last seven years.
In his welcome address, the RCCI President Raja Amir Iqbal said that importance of regional trade has increased due to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor and there are tremendous opportunities of bilateral trade cooperation in sectors like pharmaceutical, poultry, marble, furniture and textile.
