RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) has finalized all the arrangements for transparent and smooth holding of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual exams 2017, beginning from March 1 (Wednesday).
Talking to media in Rawalpindi, the RBISE spokesman Arslan Cheema said that as many as 122,377 students will take part in SSC annual exams 2017.
The Rawalpindi BISE spokesman said that apart from the board’s office at Morgah near Attock Oil Refinery Rawalpindi, the students can also contact controller examination’s phone number 051-5450917-5450918 in case they face any problem.
The spokesman informed that 67,999 male and 54,378 female students have been issued roll number slips to appear in the exams while total 362 examination centers have been set up in this regard. He said that out of total examination centers, 134 are for boys and 134 for girls while 94 combined examination centers have also been set up.
The RBISE spokesman said that 362 Superintendents, 456 Deputy Superintendents and 362 Invigilators have been deployed while total 66 examination centers have been set up in district Attock, 80 in Chakwal, 59 in Jhelum, 93 in Rawalpindi district with 64 local exam centers set up for Rawalpindi.
Moreover, he said that foolproof security arrangements in consultation with Commissioner Rawalpindi Division and Regional Police Officer have been finalized. He said that the board has also deployed 362 security guards for all the exam centers.
The spokesman said that all out efforts would be made to eliminate cheating ‘Botti Mafia.’
Arslan Cheema informed that special monitoring teams have been formed by the Chairman Board Dr. Muhammad Zareef and the reports would be presented to the Chairman on daily basis.
The Rawalpindi BISE spokesman said that a special cell has also been set up and complaints about any examination center can be sent on fax number 051-5450912, he said adding that action on the complaints would directly be taken by the Chairman.
