RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: A 60 years old woman embraced Shahadat in Cross Border firing by Indian troops on Saturday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a press release, the ISPR said that the unprovoked ceasefire violation by Indian troops took place along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kot Kehtera sector.
The ISPR said that the Indian troops targeted civil population which left a 60-year-old female resident of Village Thandi Kassi martyred.
It said that Pakistani troops effectively responded to the Indian Cross Border firing.
35Â arrested as Radd-ul-Fasaad continues
In a separate press release, the ISPR said that anti-terror Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad continues across the Country, and during last 24 hours six Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) and 35 Cordon and Search Operations were conducted.
The ISPR said that 35 suspects were apprehended in those Operations.
It said that in Punjab, joint search and IBOs were conducted by Punjab Rangers, police and intelligence agencies in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Attock. 14 suspects including one Afghani and one Baloch Sub Nationalist worker were apprehended, the ISPR said.
The ISPR further said that weapons, ammunition, currency and foreign passports were also recovered.
