ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Monday released 118,100 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 100,100 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1388.89 feet, which was 08.89 feet higher than its dead level of 1,380 feet.

Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 29,800 cusecs while outflow was recorded as 25,000 cusecs.

The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1083.70 feet, which was 43.70 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 45,000 and 31,800 cusecs respectively.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 54,200, 37,400 and 18,200 cusecs respectively.

Similarly, from the Kabul River, a total of 25,200 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 9,700 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
