ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr. Fouzia Saeed said that the annual folk festival (Lok Mela) arranged by Lok Virsa broke all past records of sales of artisans, revenue and visitors satisfaction.

While talking to the state-run news agency in Islamabad, Dr. Fouzia thanked provincial governments, volunteers and media for their support during 10-day folk festival held from April 7 to 16, 2017.

Dr. Fouzia said that the mela concerts were live streamed during the 10 days, however, we will be repeating the footage of these concerts every day for those who missed these vibrant programmes.

The executive director Lok Virsa said that every day we will repeatedly air three concerts in a loop, so people can watch at www.lokvirsa.org.pk.

“These will be aired at night also for our international viewers,” she said.

Dr. Fouzia Saeed said that the repeat telecast has started from today (Saturday).  She said that this three-day schedule will be repeated twice in the coming week.
