RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Four Pakistani Civilians including two women were injured after the Indian troops fired mortar shells from across the border on Saturday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a press release, the ISPR said that the Indian troops once again committed ceasefire violations and targeted Civilians with mortar shells at the Line of Control (LoC).
The ISPR said that the Indian troops fired mortar shells in Thruti village located in Nakial Sector at the LoC.
Resultantly, four Civilians including 65-year-old Barkat begum W/O Muhammad Nazir, 35-year-old Farzana Kausar W/O Muhammad Naseer, 12-year-old Ihsan Naseer S/O Muhammad Naseer, and 42-year-old Naseer Ahmad S/O Nazir Ahmad received injuries.
The ISPR further said that Pakistani troops effectively responded to silent Indian firing.
