JERUSALEM: Around $100 million of the Palestinian Authority’s funds, which was blocked last November by Israel after it claimed observer status at the United Nations, has been unfroze, Israeli Prime Minister’s spokesman said on Wednesday.

“This decision was taken by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu because of the Palestinian Authority’s very difficult financial situation,” he said.
