RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that we are aware of defence and security challenges being faced by the Country.
“We are capable to defeat all threats ‘irrespective of the front’,” the COAS said while interacting with troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Muzaffarabad Sector on Saturday according to the Inter Services Public Relations (COAS).
During his visit to the LoC, the COAS was given detailed briefing by the local Commander regarding operational situation, Indian ceasefire violations and response by own troops.
Troops unreservedly shared with the COAS their feelings about Indian atrocities and ceasefire violations targeting innocent civilians and pledged that no Indian misadventure shall go without a befitting response.

The COAS appreciated their state of operational readiness, exemplary high morals and motivation for fulfillment of assigned mission.
The Army Chief also hailed Kashmiris on both sides of the LoC for their determination against Indian brutalities and reiterated that Pakistan shall continue its support for right of sell determination to our Kashmiri brother in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
General Bajwa was also briefed on the ongoing communication infrastructure development by Frontier Works Organization (FWO). He appreciated that work saying that Pakistan army shall continue its role in national building projects.
The Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza, Director General FWO and GOC Murree accompanied the OCAS during the visit.
