LAHORE, Pakistan: The Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday refused to join hand with the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and also said that the PPP would not participate in any ‘grand national dialogue.’

Talking to Party leaders at Bilawal House in Lahore, the former President Asif Ali Zardari said that democracy doesn’t have any danger in the Country; rather the politics of Nawaz Sharif is in trouble.

The Co-Chairman PPP said that neither he has any contact with Nawaz Sharif nor he wants to have.

Zardari Categorically said that the PPP would not be the part of grand national dialogue as proposed by the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif following his disqualification.

The former president said that Nawaz Sharif didn’t bother about the articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution while he was in power, and since now he is no longer the prime minister, he has begun pushing for Constitutional amendments.

Moreover, Zardari said that Nawaz Sharif has different preferences when is in power but as his tenure ends, he alters his preferences.

Meanwhile, the former president discussed the current political situation in the Country and ways to further consolidate the PPP with the party leadership.
