ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif has invited Japanese companies to avail the investment friendly environment in Pakistan in the backdrop of improved security atmosphere in the Country and reforms by the government in policies relating to ease of doing business in Pakistan.
In a meeting with the Japanese ambassador to Pakistan Takashi Kurai at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Tuesday, Khawaja Asif emphasized that Pakistan attached great importance to its relations with Japan.
The foreign minister also briefed the Japanese ambassador about the efforts and sacrifices made by Pakistan to eradicate the menace of terrorism.
The Japanese envoy appreciated Pakistan’s economic turnaround and growth trajectory.
The ambassador expressed the hope that Japan, as a friend, would continue to work with Pakistan for further strengthening of bilateral relations.
Earlier in the day, the Japanese ambassador to Pakistan Takashi Kurai also held a meeting with Federal Minister for Defence Khurram Dastgir Khan, and appreciate the enormous sacrifices made by Pakistan in war against terrorism.
Takashi Kurai said that Japan acknowledges that Pakistan is one of the most effected countries due to extremism and terrorism.
