ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) would soon organize a Conference on Tourism under auspices of United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
Delegates from more than 150 Countries would be invited to participate in the Conference on Tourism at Convention Centre in Islamabad, according to official sources.
Official sources said the event would be organized with an aim to promote the tourism industry of Pakistan and highlight the tourism destinations of the Country.
They further said that representatives of multi-national companies would also be invited to discuss the investment opportunities in tourism sector of Pakistan.
Likewise, official sources added that Governor, Chief Ministers, Ministers, Members of National Assembly, Members of Provincial Assemblies, tour operators and diplomats would also attend the Tourism Conference.
Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation was incorporated in March 1970 and governed by its Board of Directors. Its principal objective is to promote and develop tourism in Pakistan. The Corporation provides transportation to various areas and owns and runs several motels across the Country.
