ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A ban has been imposed under Section 144 on all kinds of construction in Bhara Kahu, a suburb of the Federal Capital.

The ban was imposed by the magistrate, and under whose directives, no one would be allowed to construct houses, shops and plazas in Bhara Kahu, according to Daily Nai Baat.

In this regard, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bhara Kahu Police Station made announcements through mosques, cautioning the people against carrying out any kind of construction.

The SHO warned the people that anyone, who violates the law, will be brought to justice, or even his arrest can also take place.

Separately, according to another report, subsidized and expired items are being sold in shops of Bhara Kahu and its adjoining areas.

Reports said that even in famous medical stores and pharmacies, expired medicines are being sold. They said that shopkeepers bought various items from salesmen of different Companies at half price in return of commission, and then sold them to their customers.

Meanwhile, sources said that Assistant Commissioner and Food Inspector had not initiated any action since long against the sale of expired items; therefore, vendors freely engaged themselves in malpractices.
