RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Three Frontier Corps (FC) Soldiers embraced Shahadat as a result of firing by terrorists from across the border, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

In a statement, the ISPR said that troops of FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were busy in construction of new border post at Shunkrai near the Pak-Afghan Border in Mohmand Agency.

In the meantime, terrorists from across the border resorted to firing on them, resulting in Shahadat of three FC Soldiers including Lance Naik Irshad Hussain, Havildar Muneer Khan and Sepoy Haq Nawaz Khan.

The ISPR said that protection party responded and killed five terrorists while injured as many. It said that terrorists were seen fleeing carrying back dead bodies and injured.

“Pakistan paying price of Afghan forces’ capacity lack/ungoverned spaces on Afghan side of the Border,” the ISPR said.
