Kabul, Afghanistan: Afghan Ministry of Defence claims that terror outfit Daesh does not have fighters of Indian origin and Daesh in Afghanistan is led by Afridi and Orakzai tribes and are based in Pakistan.

Afghanistan further claims that fighters from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Chechnya are also among Daesh outfit.

Helaluddin Helal, the deputy head of the intelligence department of the ministry of defense of Afghanistan while talking to Afghan television Tolo claimed that Daesh fighters belong to Afridi and Orakzai tribes of Pakistan and from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Chechnya.

It is pertinent to mention that 13 foot soldiers of Daesh were killed in US raid when US dropped Mother of All Bombs in southern Afghanistan this year and Afghan government as well as US and Indian government accepted that dead Daesh soldiers belonged to South India. Moreover, three Daesh soldiers belonging to Kerala state of India.

Meanwhile Afghan Ministry of Interior rejected claim of Russian special presidential envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov who in an interview said that helicopters “without identifying insignia” are transferring fighters and delivering western military equipments to Daesh.

“There is no evidence to prove that these helicopters supplied aid to the armed opponents, we worked with the ministry of defense and national directorate of security to find such clues, but we did not,” said Minister of Interior Wais Ahmad Barmak on Sunday.

It is interesting to note that foreign media recently reported that the village of Bibi Mariam in Darzab town of Jowzjan Province of Afghanistan has become latest camp of western terrorists of Islamic State commonly known as Daesh. District governor Baaz Mohammad Dawar while talking with AFP News Agency said that women, children and men had been seen in camp belonging to different nationalities who are soldiers of Daesh. District governor Baaz Mohammad Dawar also claimed that Daesh terrorists are (were) gathering in area after crossing Afghan-Tajik border. He claimed that European women were among the terrorists pouring in from Tajikistan and were travelling with a translator from Tajikistan.
