ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Leader of the opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Tuesday said a Joint Session of Parliament should be called to adopt a policy decision on the statement of the US President Donald Trump.

Last Monday, the US President Donald Trump in a twitter message wrote “The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”

Talking to media persons in Islamabad, Khursheed Shah strongly condemned statement of the US president, and said it was not a problem of any individual but an issue of the whole Country.

The Opposition Leader said Pakistan paid a high price of its war on terror, adding Donald Trump shown his narrow mindedness coating $30 billion aid.

Khursheed Shah further said the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan was mentally disturbed, adding it would take 50 years to U-turn Khan “to reach my level”.

“I have asked him several times to bring in lime light if you have any cases against me”, Khursheed Shah said.

Syed Khursheed Shah said if Imran Khan hated the Parliament, he was ready to give answer of allegations leveled against him at any other forum of his choice.
