RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The defence attaches of the United States, United Kingdom, France, China, Turkey and Indonesia visited the Line of Control (LoC) in Rawalakot Sector of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, said the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
In a statement, the ISPR said that defence attaches were briefed about Indian atrocities along the LoC and deliberate targeting of civilians by the Indian army.
The defence attaches interacted with ceasefire violations victims and gained first-hand knowledge about their sufferings.
The dignitaries were also apprised about activities undertaken by Pakistan army to provide relief to population of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the Indian army continued to terrorize civil population along the LoC, and killed anther innocent young boy.
The ISPR said that the 19-year-old Inzamam S/O Muhammad Amin embraced Shahadat due to the Indian unprovoked and targeted firing.
It said that Shaheed Inzamam – the resident of village Tetrinot – was carrying out routine work at a crush plant at Poonch river bank when he became the victim of Indian firing.
The ISPR said that Pakistan army troops targeted the Indian army post which initiated fire on civil population.
In 2018, the Indian forces have carried out more than 392 ceasefire violations along the LoC and the Working Boundary, resulting in the shahadat of 17 innocent civilians and injuries to 65 others.
This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces committed more than 1,970 ceasefire violations.
