RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Friday said National Accountability Bureau (NAB) saw nothing except Sharif family and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government officials.
Talking to media representatives in Rawalpindi, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said such actions were taken against Sharif family in the past too.
The CADD minister said allegations had been levelled against Nawaz Sharif for one and half year but no wrongdoing was proved against him.
The minister further said now NAB was filing more references against the Sharif family.
Talking about the upcoming Senate Elections, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said unfortunately, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) didn’t accept their appeal; therefore, the PML-N candidates would now contest the polls as independent candidates.
The PML-N Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar said while talking to media that no one could take Nawaz Sharif out from hearts of the people. He said the former military dictator Pervez Musharraf tried much to do so but Nawaz Sharif returned to power with two third majority.
Captain (retd) Safdar said officers retired after every three years but a leader remained as the leader forever.
