ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that Pakistan has achieved significant economic stability and improved law & order situation that has boosted the confidence of local and foreign investors to invest in Pakistan.
Talking to a delegation of Mitsubishi Corporation and Diamond Gas International Pvt. Ltd which led by the Senior Vice President of Mitsubishi Corporation Kimihidi Ando met him at PM’s House in Islamabad on Monday, the prime minister said that government undertook mega energy projects to address the energy issues faced by the County.
The prime minister appreciated Mitsubishi Corporations’ diverse investment in Pakistan.Â
Kimihidi Ando thanked the prime minister for Pakistan’s support to Mitsubishi Corporation’s operations in Pakistan and expressed the desire to further expand investment in energy projects.
The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Ali Jehangir Siddiqui and senior government officials were also present in the meeting.
Mitsubishi is one of the largest trading companies of Japan and is among the world’s leading infrastructure development, logistics, energy, metals, machinery, chemicals, household appliances producer.
Mitsubishi is undertaking several joint ventures in Pakistan and is also setting up Pakistan’s third LNG Terminal.
