ISLAMABAD: An explosives-laden vehicle was captured on Tuesday by law enforcement agencies that was parked near the former President Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s Chak Shahzad farmhouse, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused the explosives before the vehicle was shifted to Shehzad Town police Station, police said.
While according to reports, security was beefed up around the farmhouse, which was declared a sub-jail after Musharraf was sent on 14-day judicial remand in judges detention case.
The former military ruler faces threats from various terrorist organizations including the Pakistani Taliban, Baloch militants and Ghazi Force.
