Suzuki Jimny Fourth generation 2018 to be launched in Pakistan?

The Japanese Manufacturing Company “Suzuki” is about to launch the next generation of its four-wheel mini SUV ‘Jimny’ AKA Suzuki Jimny. Since Suzuki introduced the Jimny third-generation in 1998, it had taken 20 years for the automobile company to unleash a new design, and now it is poised to launch Jimny fourth-generation in 2018. It is still not confirmed if Suzuki is planning to launch their fourth generation Pakistan or not. Along with that, we believe that the price poi9nt for this variant would be really high as compared the global price since Suzuki Cultus was also priced higher than the actual global price.

Jimny Fourth Generation 2018:

Though details about upcoming fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny have not yet been revealed but via its official website, the Company have somewhat unearthed its exterior, interior, and performance-based specifications.

As per the website, fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny would be available in multi colors including 2-tone colours such as Kinetic Yellow, Jimny Brisk Blue Metallic, Brisk Blue Metallic, Jimny Chiffon Ivory Metallic, Chiffon Ivory Metallic, and Jimny Jungle Green; and single-tone colours such as Jungle Green, Jimny Bluish Black Pearl 3, Bluish Black Pearl 3, Jimny Medium Gray, Medium Gray, Jimny Silky Silver Metallic, Silky Silver Metallic, Jimny Superior White, and Superior White.

The Company has also shared a picture of Jimny’s interior with a one-line description as ‘Straightforward, practical and down-to-earth beauty’, and rated its performance as ‘Depend on robust authenticity’ while also describing a little specification as Ladder frame, 3-link rigid axle suspension, and Part-time 4WD with low range transfer gear.  The interior is designed for high functionality.

Purists will certainly be pleased that he does not go with the SUV trend, but remains a genuine SUV. Suzuki has also published a picture of the chassis. It can be seen that the Japanese remain true to the ladder framework. The all-wheel drive is switchable to provide enough grip in any situation and to meet the reputation as an off-road race. There is already a picture of the practice-oriented interior.

Especially the two classic round instruments and the strikingly large push buttons are striking. In the upper area of the angular center console sits a large display. The new generation equipment includes cruise control, air conditioning and an emergency brake assist. Of the Engine is started in the new Jimny by pressing a button. The base engine will probably be a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine with four cylinders. The range of engines is likely to be supplemented by a 110 hp turbo cylinder. The power transmission is expected to take a five-speed manual or automatic with four stages.

Suzuki remains true to the ladder framework

Suzuki Jimny was first launched in 1970 followed by the introduction of its second generation in 1981 and the third generation in 1998. As per the Company, the new Jimny carries on the heritage of a small, lightweight authentic off-roader and is a masterpiece of Suzuki 4WD technology.

As of March 2018, according to the Suzuki website, 2.85 Suzuki Jimnys had been sold out in 194 Countries and regions.
